THE ALTER OF SLABODKA, RABBI NOSSON TZVI FINKEL (1849-1927), was the founder of the legendary yeshiva of Slabodka, Lithuania, where he emphasized the greatness of man, inspiring each of his students to strive to attain his unique potential.
